ELK HUNTS:
Sulphur Creek Ranch offers top quality Idaho wilderness trophy elk hunting with very good success rates and opportunities for mature bull elk. Most bull elk harvested are 5x5 and 6x6 bulls and success on guided elk hunts runs 75% average year to year, opportunity is 95%, drop camp hunts run 25% success on bull elk. Depending on where and how you choose to hunt, your Idaho elk hunting experience could vary from a lodge elk hunt to a complete pack-in elkhunt up to fifteen miles from the trailhead. Elk hunting is by horseback and on foot. Elevations in Idaho can range anywhere from 3500' to 9500'. Our elk camps consist of wall tents, cook tent, shower and delicious meals. Our guides are experienced elk hunters and know the areas well.
* Just as a side note, your non-resident mule deer tag can be used to tag a bear, mountain lion or a mule deer.
